October's Arrival

I cannot believe that tomorrow is the first day of October, September flew by in the blink of an eye.
Even though fall technically just started I've been soaking up every aspect of it.

Including candy corn, one of my weaknesses, Indian corn is my favorite but so hard to find.

I got these K-Cups in my care package last week from Aunt Peggy, thanks again! And they are really pretty good, better than I expected them to be. I've been using my hazelnut creamer in them and it has been pretty good. Not a huge fan of the aftertaste though.

I ordered this new yearly planner off of Etsy on August 31st. I just received it last week. Love the planner and the quality not a fan of the customer service. But who can resist a monogram?!

We have such a jokester in the family. He keeps me laughing.

I picked these leggings up about two weeks ago at Nordstrom not thinking much of it other than replacing last seasons. I struggle finding a pair that aren't paper thin that resemble tights. Well these blow all of the others I have tried out of the water. I finally got to wear them to work this weekend, where I am bending and squatting down all day. They are thick, I mean really thick and they hug you in every right place along with not stretching out.. Super happy with them and they seem to wash well.

Richmond Weekend

I headed home this weekend and it was oh so good, as always.

I headed back to school early this morning and as always it was hard to pack up and hit the road.

When I got home I was surprised to find a care package! And oh how I love a good care package, I must say that ones from Aunt Peggy seem to be the best! Thanks Aunt Peg!

I found my new favorite snack in the package above, completely addicting. I might even like them better than TJ's wasabi peas...those are hard to beat.

I got a day in at Saxon and it was so good to be back. You don't realize how much you have until its gone and I can honestly say that I missed Saxon and all of my Saxon family.

Who ever knew that pumpkin kisses existed?! I didn't but let me tell you I bought three bags and I've decided that they are a gift from God.

I made these treats with my kisses and white chocolate M&Ms. The traditional holiday treat with different M&Ms. A staple in my book.

I am officially back to the study grind this afternoon. With two papers due tomorrow and a test Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday it looks like my Netflix addiction is on the back burner.

Happy Monday!

Its Fall Ya'll

Happy first day of Fall!

The mums are officially out!

Myself and this girl are enjoying the cooler temps!

In honor of the day I snagged a new pair of boots for the occasion! Love.

This and That Round 2

I'm still playing catch up on here and considering the three tests and two papers I have due next week it looks like it is going to continue that way at least until then.

I ate my first DHall breakfast this morning and let me tell you it wasn't that great. I guess nothing compares to a Marchetti breakfast especially when you aren't a breakfast person to begin with.

I've needed a little love this week. It has been a doozy but this came it at just the right time.

Almods and I have a love hate relationship, we currently love each other. Trader Joe's having about seven different flavors is also a bonus.

I've had my eye on this lovely lately. Not sure it's going to happen with my lovely computer bill.

And I will leave you with this...aka Princesses (Caleb) new set up.

Catch Up

I feel like I have semi abandoned y'all.
Things have been pretty quiet on here lately but life has not been.
I feel like I've been going in every direction but I got to re-charge this weekend.

This is in no way going to be organized.

America made her first debut at college. She came to Hampden Sydney for the first home game with Caleb's parents. We miss her so much while we are at school it was nice to get a few snuggles in.

Considering the fact that I wore jeans and a sweater the other morning I felt like it was appropriate to throw my Essie Ballet Slippers in the bag for awhile and bring out my fall polish. I'm loving Essie Carry On, it is a great dark purple.

I went home this weekend and let me tell you there is nothing like. Nothing compares to a homecooked meal and your own bed. I miss it already.

Prepare yourself for pumpkin overload for the next three months. Love love love it. Anything and everything pumpkin. I made two loaves of bread to carry back to Farmville to substitute DHall.

In honor of my jeans and the 60 degree temps I caved and got my first PSL...and it was as good as I remembered.

And I will leave you with this little gem.

Don't we all love to find our computers like this in our rooms?

Remembering 9/11

While today is a beautiful day is has a somber effect from remember the terrorist attacks that occurred on our country twelve years ago today.

We often get caught up in our lives and forget to remember those who fight to protect us and those who did so on this day.

I take today to remember and appreciate those who lost their lives for us along with their families.

A year I ago I was given the opportunity to visit the 9/11 memorial and it was one of the most moving things I have ever experience. Definitely something that I recommend.

9/11 Never Forgotten.
